After 2 years project work ABEL secured an order for the supply of 3 Solids Handling Pumps for a biomass processing pilot plant. The pumps require extreme temperature-stable design, equipment and also dimension of the hydraulic circuit. The pumps will be shipped October 2010.
After 2 years project work ABEL secured an order for the supply of 3 Solids Handling Pumps for a biomass processing pilot plant. Before feeding the reactor the biomass is extremely heated up. The pumps require a challenge for our R & D team: The pumps must be designed to withstand 200 °C operating temperature. Such a high temperature makes high demands on the hydraulic circuit to drive pistons and cone valves, too. The pumps will be shipped October 2010. The start-up of the pilot plant is scheduled for spring 2011.
